We are participating in the Kaw Valley Farm Tour again this year. It is October 6-7 and includes 33 farms. Tickets are only $10 per car load and lasts you all weekend. What a great deal! Our Chambourcin grape harvest will take place on 9/8 and we are looking for volunteers! Fun will be had by all. We will start at 8:00 am and will wrap up once picking is completed which we are guessing will be around 11:00. As a thanks volunteers will receive lunch and sangria at the end of the day. We are partnering with Gardner Park and Rec for a two hour class teaching students the differences between vinifera and hybrid grapes, aroma compounds in wines, and how to pair wine with food. The class will end with three light "bites" that will be paired with three wines to show how a great food pairing can enhance/elevate the food or wine.

These little cuties will be harvesting our LaCrosse grapes this Saturday, 8/4. Won’t you join them? 🙂. We only need an additional 10-15 volunteers. Start time is 8:00 and we will wrap it up around noon with lunch and sangria. Please let us know if you are interested in volunteering.
It's HARVEST TIME!! We just checked the brix and it looks like we will be harvesting our Seyval and LaCrosse grapes on Saturday, July 28th. Volunteers will get to learn how we pick the grapes, de-stem, crush, and press the grapes. You may even get to taste the juice before it is made into wine.
As a thank you to our volunteers we feed you an old school farm harvest lunch and Sangria at the end of the harvest which will be around 12:00. Please join us for a Fresh Flower Design Class held in our Tasting Room at White Tail Run Winery! We are partnering with The Arrangement KC for this class. You will get to cut your own sunflowers from our Sunflower Patch and then learn how to arrange those into a beautiful flower arrangement! You will also receive one glass of wine and a cheese plate to enjoy. The best part is you will get to take your arrangement home with you! All supplies to make your display are included in the price of the ticket. The event image is a picture of the arrangement you will be making. Tickets are $50.
